I lived in The Dream Den in the Summer of 2016 (almost 50 years after the Summer of Love) with my best friend in the Haight Ashbury District of San Francisco. We lived in an intentional spiritual community with a total of 11 people and previously lived in our own rooms in the house before moving into this space together in order to save some money. It was tricky at times combining our differing styles, as mine was more feminine/whimsical/rainbow and his masculine/cosmic/rainbow, but at least we had the rainbow factor in common! Luckily, he trusted me in taking the design wheel and I think it turned out pretty well!
